We’ll show you the steps to take to make your cold email campaigns work and how to make them effective.
I’ve used this method to get hundreds of thousands of leads from cold email campaigns.
It’s just not something you can DIY.
Cold Email Outreach for Lead Generation
I’m not just talking about getting cold leads from cold emails. I’m talking about using cold email outreach for lead generation.
In order for cold email outreach to work, you need to have a great way of sending emails out.
I’ve tested just about every email platform out there and I’m a big fan of MailChimp to send emails out.
If you’re not in the B2B space, then I recommend Mailchimp and I won’t recommend another platform.
You can use email automation to go out to different groups of people.
That’s why I mentioned Cold Email Outreach for Lead Generation.
The easiest way to do cold email outreach is to use CRM software like Salesforce or Pipedrive.
These tools allow you to make cold email campaigns work.
If you’re not in the B2B space, then you might not have access to email automation tools like Mailchimp.

Now that you know what’s out there, let’s talk about how to make cold email outreach work for your business.
Step #1: Create a warm lead nurturing campaign
The first step is to create a lead nurturing campaign.
A lead nurturing campaign is a series of emails that you send to your leads to help them move up the funnel.
Let’s say you have a lead who came to your website. You set up a landing page to welcome them. You send them a welcome email.
You can use this welcome email as a landing page or you can use it as a separate email.
You can use this email as a landing page or you can send out a separate email.
For simplicity’s sake, I’m going to just use one email for this entire post.
On the landing page welcome email, I ask the person to fill out a form and then send them a separate email.
So, I want them to be warm leads. I’ll let them know they have this email.
We’ll talk about how to make cold email campaigns work later.
Step #2: Create a cold email campaign
The next step is to create a cold email campaign.
I’ll show you how to create a cold email campaign in a second, but first, let’s go over some examples of how other businesses use cold emails.
So, let’s keep this simple and just show you how to make cold emails work.
Here’s an example of a cold email campaign I used in my company.
I sent out a cold email campaign with no subject lines.
At the end of the day, these are just emails.
I just sent an email.
I got a few new leads out of that.
So, if you’re wondering about sending out a cold email campaign, then let’s keep this simple.
It can be a series of emails, but it doesn’t have to be a series of cold emails.
There are so many ways to use cold emails for lead generation.
That’s what I’m trying to show you today.
You can take it a step further and use the cold email as a way to nurture your leads.
If you’re not in the B2B space, then you can send out a series of emails and then send an email after some time to ask for more information.
That’s what I’m going to show you today.
Step #3: Create a warm lead nurturing strategy
Now, let’s move on to how to use cold email outreach in order to nurture your leads.
The first thing I want to show you is the exact process that I use to generate cold emails in order to nurture my leads.
I want to show you that process so that if you’re a company who’s not using cold emails, then you can still use it.
The process is actually the same. So, let’s keep it simple and just stick with cold emails for now.
So, you create a landing page and then you send the next email in the series.
If you’re using cold emails and you’re using a landing page, then you have to create a follow-up series of emails.
If you’re using cold emails and you’re not using a landing page, then you can send the next email in the series after a couple weeks.
Once you have a series of emails that you’ve sent out, let’s send a series of emails to bring leads back to the next stage of the funnel.
Let’s say you’re going to create a follow-up series of emails. You send out the first email and then in the next email, you send out an offer.
It’s like a warm lead nurturing strategy. If you do it right, then that leads to more warm leads and more warm leads will lead to more warm leads.
So, if you do it right, then that leads to more warm leads.
If you don’t do it right, then that leads to fewer warm leads.
That means you can start sending emails out to make more cold leads, but those cold leads don’t lead to warm leads.
So, you need to follow-up with your warm leads to make sure they’re warm leads.
You can do that in a couple different ways.
If you have a landing page and you’re using CRM software, then you can send a series of emails after a few weeks and then send an email to ask for more information about the lead.
You can send them an email that says something like this.
Hey, I just wanted to see if you still want to pursue this lead.
I know it’s a little late, but I wanted to check in and see if you still want to do this.
This is a follow-up email.
So, I’m going to send you this. You can respond to that, but then you can send them the next email.
So, you have a series of emails and then you send an email after a couple weeks.
That’s how you do it.
There are so many different ways that you can do it.
As you can see, I like to use a landing page for it, but you just need to make sure that you have a follow-up process in place.
It’s going to be a lot easier to do that if you have a CRM software.
Then, you can do it in a really simple way.
You can do it in two ways.
The first way is to send a follow-up series of emails to make sure that you’re nurturing and keeping warm leads at the top of the funnel.
Then, after a couple of weeks, you send an email.
That’s how you nurture your leads.
The second way is to send a series of emails.
I’ll show you an example of that in a moment.
I said that I liked using a landing page for this.
I think that’s the best way to do it.
A lot of companies are just using a landing page and they’re not following up.
They don’t do it.
If you’re just using a landing page to send out cold emails, then you should follow up.
It’s going to be much easier to do that in a landing page software.
A lot of companies just don’t do it.
They don’t follow-up.
They don’t nurture.
So, you need to follow-up.
It’s going to be easier if you have a CRM.
Then, you can do it in a very simple way.
You can follow up with a series of emails.
You can do it in a couple ways.
If you use a landing page and you have a CRM software, then you can follow-up.
